Partner with the best As a Materials and Metallurgy Scientist/Engineer, you will be responsible for: Deep expertise in Materials and Metallurgy domains with applied experience in industry Develops new technologies, applies existing technologies, approaches, methodologies in new combinations to develop new products, systems or processes. Viewed internally and externally as a specialist in the discipline. Performing new research, executing concept development and cross-functional project tasks, executing analysis or evaluation of product innovation, adhering to internal standards. Management of projects and project teams covering several disciplines. Presents projects plans, technical roadmaps, risks and recommendations to senior business leaders within technical space and occasionally to senior leaders in partner technical teams. Communicates solutions across the ir own function al group and with cross-functional partner organizations. Fuel your passion To be successful in this role you will have: Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college. Minimum of 5 additional years of experience in Materials and Metallurgy Research , Development and Project management. Ability to infer relationships among material structure, lab performance, and component application performance. Desired Characteristics: Broad range of materials synthesis, processing, mechanical testing, and characterization experience. Composite / ceramic materials and Polycrystalline diamond compact materials experience Thermal Welding and/or Brazing metallurgy and process expertise or experience MS or PhD with 3-5 additional years of experience Strong fundamentals in metallurgy and materials science for manufacturing, and research troubleshooting. Ability to translate fundamental theory into practical application and methodology development. Strong oral and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills. Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems working with partners internal and outside the organization. Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects. Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs. Established project management skills. Possess good analytical skills with proactive mind-set, with ability to perform multiple tasks. Be adaptable in response to new information, different or unexpected circumstances in a fast-changing environment.
