Overview / Responsibilities Wood has an immediate requirement for a Project Controls Administrator to join our team at our Kuala Lumpur office. This role is primarily focused on assisting the Consulting operational teams to deliver projects/jobs in a timely manner through the provision of a broad range of administrative / project controls support under the supervision of a senior project controller. In the role of Project Control Administrator, you should be able to follow instructions well but also able to take the initiative and feel comfortable working in a highly busy and sometimes stressful environment. You should be organised, detail-oriented, reliable, punctual, be able to multitask, prioritise, and meet deadlines as needed Project Controls Administration Assist with proposal / project set up / CTR preparation Support the preparation, management and tracking of project budget Coordinating with team members frequently for updates regarding the project status Raise purchase requisitions and place POs on suppliers for projects Assist with the preparation, storage and retrieval of project/job documentation Maintain PAF Register Monitor project progress and address potential issues collaborate required project data from the project team and follow up with the team when required Assist in ensuring that project related data (e.g. RTS, purchase orders, proposals, timesheet records and expense records) are complete and accurate in Oracle Perform weekly time writing reporting for operational locations and/or contracts Secretarial / administrative support Support Wood Consulting financial and commercial targets and improvement initiatives Learning, Development, Process Improvement Actively participate in the continuous improvement of processes and procedures Actively participate in wider Support team activities Actively assist in embedding the Wood values in the office culture HSEQ Be familiar with and comply with Wood's safety policies and procedures Report all hazards and incidents on occurrence and never walk past an unsafe act or condition Actively participate with your work teams to improve and sustain a positive safety and team culture across the organisation Skills / Qualifications At Wood it takes a diverse range of people to achieve the level of impact we are having on the global energy sector. Intermediate Excel knowledge or above Experience in Microsoft computer packages Degree qualified (or equivale nt) in relevant technical or business discipline or can be substituted by suitable experience Some office working experience ideally 1 to 2 years A positive, professional and collaborative attitude in dealing with all clients and staff Good verbal/written communication, organisational, time management and public relations skills Demonstrated analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving expertise, with the ability to maintain composure, balance workload and manage conflicting priorities Ability to maintain confidentiality and deal with sensitive matters appropriately.
