Our Completions Team partners with on-site operators and customers to provide support and guidance to ensure the capacity and value of the well is maximized to its full potential.As Embedded Development Engineer, you will be responsible for: Semiconductor design and engineering;Designing, developing, modifying and evaluating electronic parts, components or integrated circuitry for electronic equipment and hardware systems.Determining design approaches and parameters; analyzing equipment to establish operating data, conduct experimental tests & evaluate results.Common skill sets include Analog, Digital, Mixed Signal, HMOS/MOS/CMOS, PLL, ADC, DAC etc.Developing solutions based upon precedents in the organization..Specifying needs, communicating about project approach and presenting outcomes of research done.Delivering products as part of a team. Working on cross functional teams.Fuel your passionTo be successful in this role you will have:Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 4 years of experience in Engineering/Technology). 1+ years of experience in Electronic Hardware.Strong background in one or more of the following:Hardware designEmbedded firmware developmentDigital circuit design (communications busses, high-speed busses)Experience with C and Assembly programming (ARM, MSP430, PIC and C2000 CPU cores preferred)Experience with EDA software (Altium Designer preferred)Hands-on and automation experience with lab instruments such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, electronic loads, signal generators, high-speed digitizers, multimetersExperience with testing/experiment automation programming (LabVIEW or Python preferred)Working with usOur people are at the heart of what we do at Baker Hughes.
