Position Summary The HSE Project Development Lead is responsible for the planning, communication, execution, and implementation of new and revised HSSE programs and initiatives within the Company and the HSSE Department. LOCATION Role provides the opportunity to work virtually. Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 10% of the year. Duties & Responsibilities Maintain the process by which the Global HSSE team follows to manage HSSE changes and implementation of new programs and initiatives, including, but not limited to needs assessments, communications, marketing, deployment, implementation, and sustainability planning. Coordinate internal and third-party/vendor resources for the communication and execution of new and revised HSSE programs and initiatives. Prepare project implementation objectives, plans and timelines. Monitor and track project progress and provide updates to the Global HSE Support Manager. Monitor client, industry, and other HSSE requirements globally. Lead and assist where necessary with the implementation and roll out efforts of new HSSE initiatives. Be the single point of contact for all internal and external HSSE related databases and 3rd party systems, such as ISNetworld and Avetta; manage the Oceaneering ISNetworld owner account by maintaining contractor connections Assist the Global HSSE Lead Auditor with conducting internal audits as needed. Maintain commercial request log for the Western Hemisphere, provide support where needed, and coordinate contract reviews with local HSSE when applicable. Oversee the development and maintenance of HSSE reporting software and applications, assist with all HSSE/Ops inquiries when support is needed. Assist Corporate HSSE with ensuring invoices for all HSSE related databases are properly submitted and scheduled for on time payment. Assist the Global HSSE Support Manager with Merger & Acquisition due diligence. Liase with Curriculum Development Team to ensure all basic HSSE Training needs are maintained and updated as needed. Travel domestically and internationally, as required, for project development and internal audit support. Other duties as directed by Manager. Qualifications REQUIRED Bachelor's degree in a Health, Safety, Environmental related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum five years of relevant industry experience. Ability to travel domestically and internationally. Resident of the United States. DESIRED Prior project management experience preferred. Based out of Texas or Louisiana. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND OTHER CHARACTERISTICS Knowledge of appropriate steps to analytical problem-solving. Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships.
