Partner with the best Responsible for Electrical Design for Manufacturing associated with printed circuit boards and component selection. Works closely with Engineering design teams to setup Manufacturing for success upon new product launch. Suggests improvements in products, processes and procedures.Component Engineer responsible for maintaining design and manufacturing lifecycle of PCBAs, job tasks include vetting of new designs for manufacturability, sustaining of existing designs, addressing component sourcing challenges, and alternate part selection as required.Responsible for identifying alternative components, alternative source of supply, better life cycle management of electrical components, and drive electronics DFMA including Design For Fabrication, Design for Assembly, and Design for Test. Responsible for Semiconductor design and engineering; designing, developing, modifying and evaluating electronic parts, components or integrated circuitry for electronic equipment and other hardware systems. They determines design approaches and parameters; analyze equipment to establish operating data, conduct experimental tests & evaluate results. Common skill sets include Analog, Digital, Mixed Signal, HMOS/MOS/CMOS, PLL, ADC, DAC etc.Ability to analyze and understand design schematics for enhancements and make recommendations is a plus; ability to handle analog and digital designs is desirableDevelops new solutions under guidance and/or in a team setting or based upon precedents in the organizations. Works together with technology and manufacturing and communicates effectively with leadership. Specifies needs, communicates about project approach and presents outcomes of research done.Delivers products as part of a team. Works on cross functional teams. Alternatively: Leads analytical and design activities using proven technologies and vested approaches and methods.
