All activities that consider both the business and the technical needs of the customers with the goal of providing a quality product that meets the users 'needs.As a Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for:Conducting component and product integrationManaging product and systems requirements, specifications, and flow downDriving validation and verification activities for the overall product/system, including system level testingDefining product requirements for the module / component / subcontractors and partners teams. Managing interface between components and execution organizationsDriving CTQ / Risk trades within the teams designing the componentsManaging the overall product configuration and configuration control systemUnderstanding of complex and highly technical concepts and principles in the own part of the functionLeading analytical and design activities using proven technologies and vested approaches and methodsCommunicating across direct organization. Presenting to senior leaders (EB and SEB) in specific technical space and on cross functional teams on how technologies interconnect and contribute to overall strategyConnecting the dots across technologies and develop cross-technology solutions; works on cross-functional projects/teams to deliver technology solutions for the businessFuel your passionTo be successful in this role you will:Have a degree in a technical discipline and experience in a subsea control system engineering roleHave extensive technical knowledge of the subsea control system is essential, in-depth technical knowledge of the specific platform(s) is preferredDemonstrate experience in handling multiple activities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment where priorities can often change at short noticeDemonstrate a track record in interacting effectively with clients and across a matrix structure at all levels in an organizationHave excellent communication & presentation skillsWork in a way that works for youWe recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone too.
