Position Summary What you will do This is a paid Summer Internship Program (early June to early August). As an intern with our MPH (Manufactured Products Houston) Engineering group, you will a ssist with providing engineering development and support on small to medium-sized projects and/or individual components of larger more complex projects. Duties & Responsibilities Your job responsibilities and projects will be based upon your experience and educational background to provide real life application of your classroom knowledge. You will work closely with a mentor to ensure your developmental goals are met and that you meet your performance expectations. This is an exciting opportunity to learn 'real world' experience and accelerate your career by working with a leader in the oil and gas, aerospace, and entertainment industries. Qualifications REQUIRED Rising 3rd or 4th year undergraduate student at an accredited University, pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics. Minimum 3.0 GPA. Experience with Microsoft Office. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now and in the future. No relocation or housing assistance is being offered. DESIRED Exposure to physical tools and programming whether as part of coursework or as a hobby. Academic excellence and community involvement. Familiarity with the application of current 3D engineering modeling software (i.e., Solidworks, Unigraphics, etc.). Ability to read and interpret hydraulic schematics and drawings. Additional Information This position is Hybrid - Remote and will require commuting to a designated office. Hybrid work schedules are determined by the hiring manager based on business need.
