Position Summary This is an individual contributor role, which is part of the global sales team reporting to the Commercial Director. The position is a software sales role, focused on establishing a detailed understanding of customers bulk cargo logistics processes, then defining and presenting how the OceanSMART solutions can enable and deliver value to these processes. To secure new revenue from the sales of SaaS Subscriptions of OceanSMART products through direct engagement with the market, from lead identification to contract signing and subsequent renewals. Duties & Responsibilities Identify, develop, and manage potential customers. Lead Generation for US / Americas. End to end solo execution of sales process. Create and maintain Demonstration instances of the OceanSMART Platform. Demonstration of Solutions to customers based on customer requirements. Contract negotiation and closing. Hand over to Delivery Team. Qualifications REQUIRED Proven successful track record at selling Software solutions. Minimum 5 years Software sales experience. Minimum 2 years of experience configuring own demo environment . Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience. Ability to travel, primarily domestically, greater than 20%. DESIRED Knowledge of Bulk Cargo Supply chain focused on Vetting, Terminal Management and Cargo Operations. Knowledge of the Bulk cargo Supply Chain and maritime/logistics technology market. Proven track record in winning significant software sales opportunities. A desire to change an industry that has never desired change. Desire to be a part of working from a small team to a major operation. Ability to quickly learn new products, interfaces, and processes. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work in an Agile environment. Ability to work effectively in a multi-team environment. Additional Information This position is Hybrid - Remote and will require commuting to a designated office. Hybrid work schedules are determined by the hiring manager based on business need.
