Overview / Responsibilities Wood is currently recruiting for a Process Engineer to join our team in Brisbane. Reporting to the Discipline Lead Engineer, the successful applicant will initially be based in our client's office in Brisbane, working as part of the Flow Assurance team. Responsibilities Design and optimisation of gas and water gathering network facilities Development of flow assurance simulations, and preparation of hydraulic modelling reports Participate in workshop reviews including Risk Assessments, HAZOPs, Design Reviews Develop typical Process Engineering documentation including PFDs, P&IDs, Heat & Mass Balances, Line Lists, Operating Envelopes Occasional site travel may be required, however role is predominantly Brisbane based Skills / Qualifications Degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent field Approximately 5+ years experience in a relevant Process Engineering role Familiarity with CGS industry, gas & water gathering design, and flow assurance would be advantageous Able to apply the theories, codes and standards appropriate to the Process discipline Design engineering related experience within the Oil & Gas / CSG industry preferred Experience participating in HAZOP and HAZID studies - preferred Familiar with industry standard software (e.g. HYSYS) Candidates must have full work rights in Australia to be considered for this role.
