We utilize CNC programming specification drawings to bring our products to life.Partner with the bestAs a Machinist you will set up and operates special purpose equipment, conventional (lathe and/or mill), and/or numerical control (NC) machines and machining centers for fabrication of metallic and nonmetallic parts that hold to the high-quality machine standards required within the organization. Reads and interprets blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, specifications, or sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished workpieces, sequence of operations and setup requirements. Starts and observes machine operation to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining and adjusts machine controls as required. Must be able to select, align, and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials on machines such as mills, lathes, jig borers, grinders, and shapers. Must demonstrate a basic to intermediate skill level (indicate part, turn OD's, and qualify ID and OD) on manual lathe.Responsibilities: Operating and setting up CNC machining equipment in a workshop environment to ensure reliability and safetyReading and understanding engineering drawings and specifications to determine dimensions of finished pieces, sequence of operations and setup requirementsStarting and observing machine operation to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining, and adjusting machine controls as requiredDesigning, constructing and documenting mechatronic processes and fixtures to enable quality product buildsQualifications: Minimum of a High School diploma/GED6 months of CNC Machinist experienceWork in a way that works for youWe recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone too.
