Are you passionate about keeping things running smoothly through proper planning?Do you enjoy managing and optimizing inventory levels and strategies?Join our Materials and Production Planning team!Partner with the bestAs an Inventory Planner, you will be responsible for:Monitoring inventory levels and ensuring weekly increases or decreases in levels are aligned to the business.Implementing inventory stocking strategies.Developing methods and programs to optimize the utilization of inventory.Monitoring levels of safety stock, global and aging inventory, and working with regions and manufacturing plants to address accordingly.Providing updates to inventory projections and creates mitigation plans as needed.Reviewing Slow Moving Inventory (SMI) with regions and involves other functional groups to reduce SMI risks.Forecasting inventory reserves and work create action plan for mitigationWorking with the demand planner to create the netted demand plan.Fuel your passionTo be successful in this role you will:Have a Bachelor's in Supply Chain Management or a related field; or alternatively, a high-school diploma plus 5+ years of relevant work experience.Be experienced in order management, inventory optimization and management, asset utilization and management.Possess a deep knowledge of SAP and MRP functionality.Be able to work with and influence stakeholdersCombine strategic thinking with tactical execution and a sense of urgencyWork in a way that works for youWe recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone too.
