We are a leader in oil and water separation technology and in solutions to control corrosion, deposition, bacteria's. We provide chemicals and support to enhance plant processes, improve productivity, manage water treatment, and resolve environmental issues.Play a key role in on time delivery to customersAs a Lead Materials Planner you will be responsible for planning and scheduling of the materials required to execute the business. Work with operations and supply chain to translate the demand (forecasts, sales orders, planned orders) to physical orders and ensure they are delivered to meet the customer requirements.As a Lead Materials Planner, you will be responsible for:Working with the region sales and operations to create the regional forecast (12-18 mo) and global forecastsColloaborating with the operations team to convert demand plans into physical ordersProviding technical guidance and support to the local materials team and consulting with leadership for material decisionsCollaborating with cross-functional teams to meet customer requirements while minimizing inventory and shipping costDeveloping inventory strategies, including safety stock and turnsPerforming various material management analysis such as consumption and forecasts, aged inventory, aged purchase orders, safety stockFuel your passionTo be successful in this role you will:Have a Bachelor's Degree; or, in the alternative, a high-school diploma plus 5+ years of materials/inventory planning experience in a manufacturing environment in addition to the below.Have 3+ years experience in order management and inventory optimization and management.Have experience leading a professional/work team, whether as a manager or simply in a team lead capacity.Have an advanced working knowledge of Microsoft ExcelDemonstrate an ability to communicate professionally at all levels, lead meetings and collaborate with internal stakeholdersBe a good team player, enjoy collaborating and solving problems with othersBe excited by and demonstrate an ability to learn new processes and applicationsHave proficient skills in SAPWork in a way that works for youWe recognise that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone too.
