Location: Celle, germany Job Summary: Development of control and automation software for our subsea oil and gas production and new energy systems Development and maintenance of software, including microcontroller/embedded software, Linux modules, test frameworks and related tools, using internal guidelines as well as national and international norms and standards Development of HMIs using Qt frameworks Coordinate specifications with internal and external customers and perform necessary reviews Supporting the manufacturing team on site with tools, scripts and hands-on assistance Qualifications: Completed studies in the field of electrical engineering, automation technology (Bachelor's/Master's degree) or comparable training Relevant professional experience in a comparable, international environment Practical experience in embedded software design on controllers such as i.mx or Kinetis from NXP Programming skills in C, C++17, Python Practical experience with Git, CMake, Azure DevOps, Linux/Yocto, Qt, pytest Good knowledge of CAN, Modbus, MQTT, OPC-UA, SNMP High communication skills paired with a structured and solution-oriented way of working Good German and English skills, both written and verbal Career Advancement: SLB Eureka Technical Career (SETC) provides proven technical contributors with a career path that offers them recognition, reward, and influence that parallels an equivalent management progression.
