Overview / Responsibilities Wood is currently recruiting for a Senior Project Engineer based in our Brisbane office. Reporting to the Project Portfolio Manager this role will have direct project coordination responsibilities for portfolio of brownfield EPC projects in PNG. The ideal candidate is hands-on and will have had previous experience in project coordination and management of brownfield oil and gas project(s) through the FEED and EPC phase. What sets you apart from other candidates, is your previous extensive experience in directly project managing projects working for a project delivery organisation. Responsibilities Leading and driving an EPC team to ensure delivery of project deliverables and resolution of technical issues to budget and schedule. Managing and coordination of designated project tasks, liaising between project functional groups, engineering, procurement, project controls, estimating, quality, Assisting the Project Manager in monitoring the progress and project reporting Delighting the client and building strong repoire with the client. Ensuring effective utilization of High Value Execution Center(s) (HVEC) in delivery of services with the specific aims of ensuring good commercial leverage from HVEC utilization, quality of service delivery is maintained, processes for HVEC are continuously reviewed and improved Ensure compliance with the Wood agreed processes and procedures in all aspects of the business Skills / Qualifications Bachelor's degree in engineering with a degree qualification 10+ years as a hands-on Senior Project Engineer or Project Engineer working for a project delivery contractor is required. Previous experience in directly project managing an EPC / EPCM project for a contractor. Proven ability to deliver project tasks to scope, schedule, and budget. Proven ability to lead a team to generate technical proposals encompassing cost estimates, schedules, and scope of works. Superior written and oral communication capabilities with the ability to present, inform, and persuade at all levels and externally. A proven team player and team fit with a track record of delighting clients. Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to be a team player is essential Candidates must have full work rights in Australia to be considered for this role.
