Duties & Responsibilities Purpose The Senior Network Engineer will oversee the installation and support of all IT components aligned to the client ' s enterprise standards. The Network Engineer shall provide oversight offshore in Mauritania and Senegal to design, build, install, commission and handover the systems. Safety Ensure that the Safety policies and procedures are understood and adhered to so far as is reasonably practicable in order to ensure a safe working environment. Candidate must have an active BOSIET (Basic Offshore Safety Induction and Emergency Training) Certification. Duties and Responsibilities Support the on-station commissioning activities associated with the LAN, WAN, Wireless, Telephony and Backoffice Infrastructure. - Execute the on station Digital SAT procedure - Witness the on-station EPC SAT procedure Support System Handover activities by facilitating the transition process from projects to operations with the Service Owner Receive direction and guidance from the remote UK based technical leads. {Digital Field Communication Engineer and Digital Network Security Eng.} To proficiently use VR collaboration tools i.e. Microsoft HoloLens to aid the remote support. Receive direction from external subject matter experts to support the commissioning of the Back-Office Server Infrastructure. Poses the ability and aptitude to; Manage various stakeholder interfaces, Time management, Activity management and Change management Participate in package integration testing under the direction of the Digital Network Security Eng. Support SPAs to assist contractors and suppliers to resolve connectivity issues affecting ASDS services Poses hands-on technical experience in FortiGate Firewalls (301E), i.e. HA mode, routing protocols, VPNs etc. A sound knowledge and understanding of Process Control Networks (PCN) and cyber vulnerabilities and attacks Experience of firewall fault management and diagnosis Lead continued improvement activities such like but not limited too; re-configuration of Field Wireless {Implementation of Clear Pass, Helios SSID} Supervisory Responsibilities This position has NO direct supervisory responsibilities.
