Schlumberger is the leading provider of technology and services to the energy industry across the world PEAK Assembly Technician Location: Bayswater, Perth Type of contract : Permanent Permanent employment Gold Tier Private Health Cover Comprehensive Life, TPD & Income Protection Insurances Wellness Benefits Employment Assistance Program Discounted Stock Purchase Program Attractive compensation package Peak Well Systems, a wholly owned Schlumberger company, is looking for an Assembly Technician to join our Bayswater - Perth, WA team.The successful candidate will work in a team of assembly and workshop technicians and will predominantly ensure the assembly of Peak parts to the highest specification and to meet Client deadlines. Requirements: Reside in Perth, Australia or ability to relocate at own expense (no relocation offered) Have the full right to live and work in Australia Excellent mechanical aptitude. Hands on mechanical approach with tool assembly skills. Capable of assembling Peak tools as per drawing specifications. Undertake function and pressure testing of tools prior to despatch. Daily workshop duties, including but not limited to reading work orders, understanding drawing specifications, using hand tools, sandblasting, deburring, engraving and pressure washing. Undertake minor in-house machining such as drilling of roll pin holes. Quality control of Peak products prior to despatch and raising of NCR's through Peak's online reporting system when required. Understanding of the engraving process, surface treatment and sand blasting. Problem solving on a practical level. Capable and willing to provide mentoring and guidance to other workshop staff as required. Willingness to learn assembly of full suite of Peak products. Excellent work ethic, reliable and self-motivated. High degree of QHSE awareness and knowledge. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work unsupervised while clearly executing instructions. Very good computer skills. Valid driver's licence.
