Overview / Responsibilities Wood is currently recruiting for a Senior Project Engineer position with extensive experience in the Oil and Gas Industry. To provide general project engineering expertise across a range of project and engineering disciplines. To identify and manage project and engineering interfaces, and to prepare and administer the project and engineering interface registers. Ensures that all functions are properly coordinated and establish inter-discipline priorities in accordance with the project goals Review contractor progress reports to identify any areas of concern and highlight these to the Project Manager and discipline personnel. Review project related deliverables and comment as appropriate. Ensure multi discipline reviews, meetings and audits are coordinated and actions are tracked to closure Socialise and interface with MPM in conjunction with the agreed Project Management Roadmap and other PPGUA requirements for Execute stage Focal point for the EPCIC supplementary contracts, e.g. EPMS, MES, QA/QC & TPI, etc Interface with Company's sub-surface, operations, drilling, fabrication and commissioning teams to ensure project and engineering incorporate input and comments Administer project control procedures and processes and ensure, on a day-to-day basis, that the project is in overall accordance with the Project Execution Plan and subsidiary documents To take the lead role in liaison with the project engineering functional levels To support and deputise for the Project Manager Skills / Qualifications University degree in relevant discipline Years of experience- 10+ Excellent verbal, written and presentational communication skill Strong influencer, negotiator and mediator Flexible to respond and adapt to changing internal and external context Decisive, with ability to make decisions and follow through, ensuring learnings are captured Strong team builder capable of identifying and adopting best practices, engendering a spirit of cooperation and energising people towards optimum performance enabling cross functional best practice Flexible to respond in agile ways to changing customer needs A motivated self-starter, who can self-direct when required, able to use own initiative and have autonomy to make appropriate decisions but also know when escalation is required.
