Overview / Responsibilities Wood has a collaborative maintenance contract with Seqwater to deliver leading maintenance services in the water industry. These projects cover South East Queensland across multiple locations. We are currently seeking an Electrical & Instrumentation Technician for a permanent position at Mount Crosby on our Water Treatment Plant. We are looking for candidates who are dual trade qualified with HV licensing and switching experience in an asset & maintenance environment, with a strong commitment to safety on our Minor Capital Works projects. This role is best suited to someone who enjoys working in a team environment and is self-motivated. This position requires an immediate start. We will only consider applications from Australian citizens or those with the required permit/VISA for this region. The successful candidate will: Provide electrical/instrumentation services in relation to the operation, maintenance, refurbishment and augmentation of Seqwater's mechanical and civil assets across water treatment plants, dams and supply systems Provide technical advice and support Perform routine asset inspections and maintenance activities in accordance with the relevant job plans and record details of maintenance activities into the asset management system. Skills / Qualifications A current Australian Electrical Licence, with Instrumentation qualifications desirable Maintenance and sustaining capital experience, preferably within the utilities or process industry environment Ideally have HV Licencing with HV Switching experience, but not essential. Additional Requirements: Electrical licence is a requirement, with HV and Instrumentation skills and qualifications desirable Current tickets desirable, but not essential: Confined Space and Working at Heights, First Aid, LVR & CPR, Breathing Apparatus and Gas Test Atmosphere Construction White Card or equivalent.
