Overview / Responsibilities Wood is currently recruiting for a Project Accountant (On-Site) on a permanent contract for an immediate start at the Lytton Refinery. The position will report directly to the Senior Project Accountant and candidates must be organized, detail-oriented, critical thinker, take ownership. Responsibilities Billing: Invoice Client in accordance with contract Ensure customer payments meet contractual timing Liaises with client representative, and project personnel to resolve billing queries Manage the billing process and ensure that the DSO target for the contract is achieved, with any issues raised for timely resolution with the respective parties Month end close/reporting: Undertake the month end close for contract and the submission of various group reporting requirement Assist with the reporting of contract performance and analyses variances Work with Finance Share services to ensure allocation of payment to receivables is done timely on monthly basis Other: Good understanding of the contract, be well aware of the financial and commercial terms that governs the operation of the contract so that value added analysis can be drawn up for the contract To take on all other financial analysis, financial data request as required by the contract manager, corporate, and etc Manage internal and external stakeholders for all financial matters Skills / Qualifications Degree in Accounting is preferable CA or CPA qualified (or currently working towards) 2 - 4 years project accounting with EBA experience is a must Oracle experience is preferred Proficient user of Excel Good Communication Skills Candidates must have full work rights in Australia to be considered for this role.
