Partner with the best As a Lead Materials & Production Planner, you will be responsible for: Working with the region sales and operations to create the regional forecast (12-18 mo) and global forecastsWorking with the sales and operations team to convert the demand plans into physical orders. Understands business trends, opportunities and how they impact the demand forecast.Assisting in the execution and drives consistency of the S&OP processAnalyzing incoming demand: identifies order exceptions, misalignment with product rationalization strategy and opportunities to utilize existing inventoryPlanning and schedules order timelines to be consistent with customer requirements while minimizing inventory and shipping costsWorking with the Product Line/Sales/Service Delivery to deliveryize deliver dates as needed (push outs, pull ins)Working with the Supply Chain manufacturing to properly schedule work orders based upon material receipt and overall supply chain manufacturing capacityPerforming analysis to understand/determine supply chain manufacturing capacityPerforming various matanalysesnagement analysis such as statistical material consumption and forecasts, aged inventory, aged PO, in-transit material analysis, safety stock, etc.Implementing inventory stocking strategiesMonitoring levels of safety stock, global and aging inventory and working with regions and manufacturing plants to address accordinglyWorking with the Supply Chain organization to ensure spare parts and asset demands are capturedWorking to ensure ne,w assets, repaired assets and spares are captured with the Sales & Operations Planning processAssisting with product life cycle management for new and obsolete products to ensure they are incorporated into the S&OP processAssisting in driving product line make to stock (MTS), make to order (MTO), configure to order (CTO) and engineer to order (ETO) standards are implemented in the S&OP process Fuel your passion To be successful in this role you will:Have a Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management or related field or equivalent experience (5+ years' experience), Associates degree, college or High school diploma.Have experience in order management, inventory optimization and management, asset utilization and managementHave intermediate knowledge of SAP and MRP functionality, Epicor is preferredBe able to work with and influence stakeholdersDemonstrate strategic thinking with tactical execution with a sense of urgencyDesired CharacteristicsHave an APICS Certification Work in a way that works for you We recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone.
