Partner with the best As an AMO Machinist VII, you will be responsible for: Doing your own programming, tool selection, set up and machining on lathes and or Mills. Fuel your passion To be successful in this role you will have: Qualifications/Requirements: Must have 5+ years related experience running/programming a Mazak Lathe and or Mill (Mazatrol programming a MUST)Must be able to select, align, and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials on machines such as mills, lathesMust demonstrate an advanced skill level with indicating parts, turn OD's, and qualify ID and OD tools on CNC mills and CNC latheAbility to read and interpret documents such as blueprints, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manualsMust have working knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD & T). Ability to apply basic concepts of algebra and geometryAbility to calculate and set controls to regulate machining factors such as speed, feed, coolant flow, depth and angle of cut, or enter commands to retrieve, input, or edit computerized machine control media. Desired Characteristics: Must be a team player and be willing to move within the shop area to a verity of different Mazak machines and be sufficient in running them all.
