Position Summary The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) will be responsible for driving revenue growth for SaaS products for the Energy Intelligence business within the Integrity Management & Digital Solutions (IMDS) segment. S ecuring new revenue from the sales of SaaS Subscriptions through direct engagement with the market, from lead identification to contract signing and subsequent renewals. The individual will be a problem centric seller curious to understand our customers business and become a key contributor to our journey. The role offers the early stage opportunity to contribute to go to market and commercial strategies in addition to shaping our product direction and building compelling business cases for software products. LOCATION This role can be performed remote but will be expected to have some presence in the office as well. Duties & Responsibilities DUTIES The RSM works as a key part of a team working to increase Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) processes within IMDS Energy Intelligence. The RSM is a key component for the performance, strategy, and alignment of the organization's revenue operations and accountable for the performance of revenue functions within an assigned region/geography, this includes working closely with other sales and BD functions in planning, organizing, directing, and coordinating sales. Drive scale, and profitability, by appropriately professionalizing the Company's external sales activities Work creatively to improve sales customer experience, shortening deal cycles, and improving forecasting accuracy. Drive improvement in higher closure rates, increased average deal value, and account growth. Ensure product knowledge, and sales and success delivery philosophy/strategy are established and understood by sales and customer success organizations Work with marketing team to create and execute winning marketing strategies to drive profitable growth. Provide sales expertise in order to develop and implement revenue driving strategies, which create long-term customer and business value. Effectively resolve issues across the marketing/sales, customer success, and technology functions - must be comfortable with conflict, addressing issues, and solving problems in a practical and healthy manner Using our CRM, develop and implement scalable processes, to enable land & expand processes that are metrics driven, providing actionable and accurate information for building, managing, and executing a balanced pipeline that supports achievement of acquisition, expansion and renewal targets. Understand customers' needs and feedback to Technology and Product Management teams Provide strategic, day-to-day and tactical business and product developmental support, including relevant internal and external stakeholders. Gather and report out market data within assigned regions. This includes establishing total available market size and Oceaneering market share for the business unit. Develop and review market share data with BU head and develop strategic plans to increase market share. Monitor and evaluate the activities and products of the competition. This includes competitors market share of the region and globally, equipment volume and capabilities in the region and any strategic alliances for competiton. Input to pricing strategy based on the customer's expectations, competitive situation, potential differentiators, and other factors. Communicate the pricing strategy to the proposal team, and justify it to the management that must approve the proposal. Consistently demonstrate a passion for the Company's core values and a curiosity for innovating in the pursuit of helping our customer succeed in their business goals. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This position has no supervisory responsibilities. REPORTING RELATIONSHIP Directly reporting to Global Business Development Manager - SaaS Products Functional matrix repoerint to Global Director of Sales, IMDS Qualifications REQUIRED Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business or Technical arena, or equivalent education and experience. 5+ years of effective sales/business development/account management experience in the Energy or energy related industry Knowledge of Customer Relationship Management systems, Spreadsheet software, Word Processing software and Presentation software. Technically proficient and consistently up to date on the products and services Oceaneering offers. DESIRED 3+ years of software experience selling digital solutions MBA from an accredited college or university or equivilent relavant experience. Prior sales experience in selling SaaS products in one or more of the following industries: Oil and Gas, Energy, Renewables, Processing, Chemicals or similar. Experience of Miller Heimann, Challenger or Gap Selling methodologies Field experience (not essential) Additional Information The position will be Hybrid - Remote. Employees are expected to travel to their designated office as schedules require.
