Assist in developing and qualifying innovative material joining technologies to ensure safest and optimal joining processes and techniques enabling highest productivity and quality within the company.Roles and Responsibilities:Assist Engineer(s) to investigate and develop innovative joining processes and techniques. This may include supporting equipment system design reviews, installation, commissioning, undergoing training or provide training, operating equipment and developing optimal process parameters and procedures for applicable application(s)Assist Engineer(s) to organize and conduct a formal Joining Qualification Test. This may include input and setup of equipment and parameters, material joint preparation/cleaning, applying pre/post heat treatment if any, recording parameter data, and preparing reports in lieu of applicable joining test plan and/or proceduresProvide housekeeping in and around JIC area and equipment per applicable HSE procedures.Periodically facilitate equipment maintenance/service and calibration records, maintain tooling, spare part(s) list and inventoryMinimum Job Qualifications Preferably a diploma or similar of welding technician or operator.Preferably a current or recent welder/operator with certificate(s) in applicable Process(s)/Position(s)At least 3 years experience of welding technician type dutiesCandidates must be able to legally work and reside in the US, without sponsorship
