Do you enjoy field research?Would you like a higher degree of visibility to how your findings are put to practical use?Join our Chemical Oilfield Services team!Partner with the bestAs an Oilfield Chemicals Research Scientist, you will be responsible for:Leading and supporting the development of new products and new technologies.Providing technical services to existing product applications, with focus on management of hydrogen sulfide and other sulfur species.Planning and conducting laboratory and field experimentations, including chemical formulation work.Evaluating performance of chemical products and trouble-shooting oilfield production chemical related problems/issues.Analyzing data and communicating results through presentations and documentation to various stakeholders.Traveling to field to implement production recommendations and provide onsite technical service.Complying with all HSE and quality protocols and requirements, and following standardized test procedures and protocols.Fuel your passionTo be successful in this role you will:Hold a Bachelor's or (preferred) more advanced degree in a relevant field.Have 5 years of experience in electrochemistry and chemical analysis.Have, or be eligible to apply for, a passport.Demonstrate experience and knowledge in upstream oil and gas specialty production chemicals.Be willing to work with various oilfield production chemicals and to travel to oilfields for technical work and customer meetings.Work in a way that works for youWe recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone too.
