Under most conditions, this role has a regular Monday-Friday work schedule with minimal overtime. If you have a Mechanical Aptitude and a keen sense of safety-awareness, this is the job for you!As a Floorhand, you will be responsible for:Conducting operations in a safe manner according to Baker Hughes policies and procedures.Maintaining the rig operation through regular P.M. checks and performing simple repairs when needed.Performing warehouse operations, such as freight-handling (receiving, loading, stocking, etc...)Operating a forklift and other life-assist equipmentPlaying an engaged part in the SOS Observation System program, as well as all other company safety systems.Fuel your passionTo be successful in this role you will:Have a minimum of high school diploma or equivalentHave a preferred 6 months+ of previous oil rig experienceBe proficient in STOP WORK for employees and familiar with its techniquesPay attention to the safety of all floor crew personnel as they might interact with your workHave preferably operated a forkliftWorking with usOur people are at the heart of what we do at Baker Hughes.
