The Manufacturing Engineering Leader is a full time position that reports into the Plant Leader.As a Manufacturing Engineering Leader - Cable/HPump, you will be responsible for:Health, Safety and EnvironmentParticipating in HSE programs as assignedKeeping work areas of the facility in a safe, clean and organized manner at all times. If ever you see anyone around you performing an unsafe act or working in an unsafe condition, immediately Stop Work and report to your lead/supervisor/managerIf ever any HSE incident takes place, Stop Work and report immediately to your lead/supervisor/managerReviewing all associated ORA's/HRA's/MOC's/Work Permits prior to starting work and exercise Stop Work at any time for SafetyQualityAdhering to the Qualified to Perform (QTP) program always as well as all other Quality requirements and exercise Stop Work at any timeIf ever you see anyone around you doing something that could potentially jeopardize the quality of a product immediately Stop Work and report to your lead/supervisor/managerDelivery / ProductionLeading, initiating and facilitating plant level process improvement projects with focus on cost reduction and efficient productionDesigning production fixturing, gauging and toolingDeveloping and documenting special product processesDriving improvement and accountability towards achieving key performance indicators goals and metricsDriving continuous improvement within the plant through data analysisLiaising across cross-functional teams in order to drive cost reduction and delivery improvementsSupporting in driving global standardization of process and tools facilitating cost reduction strategies, best practices and communication across the PL manufacturing plantsSupporting projects and initiatives that focus on improving HSE, Quality and Employee Engagement culturesSupporting digital projects to improve the efficiency within the plant Leading systems and processes governance to identify and improve plant complianceCollaborating with various personnel (MFG, Hubs, Spokes, and Operations) to bring about cost reduction and technical solutionsIdentifying needs of shop or production floor to reduce cost of productionInitiating, driving and completing projects to control costs throughout the Product Life CycleSupporting resolution of quality issues in collaboration with Shop Floor, Global MFG MET, QA and Service Delivery Technical departmentSetting up and maintain routers and bills of material (BOM) in SAPIdentifying solutions and actions to drive process safetyReviewing and action engineering change requests and ordersMaintaining production equipment records and filing systems as part of quality control and assurance programs.Evaluating maintenance processes for efficient maintenance of equipment as well as potential improvements in quality, reliability, turnaround times and costs.Configurating the test stations and systems.In collaboration with the Global MFG MET Team:Troubleshooting, testing, assembling, disassembling and performing a visual inspection of electronic and mechanical systems as requiredReviewing procedures for production, assembly, disassembly and test verification accuracy.Analyzing and interpret data from environmental tests and troubleshoot equipment problems. Minimum of 5 additional years of experience in Production Process and Equipment.Have 2 years of experience in a Leadership role.Have oral and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.Have the ability to analyze and resolve problems. Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects. Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
