Applying sourcing policy, interface between supplier and entity with respect to specifications and budgets.As a Lead Buying/Procurement Specialist - Oilfield Industrial Chemical, you will be responsible for: Managing supplier relationships to understand the business, gather market intelligence, assess risk and ensure compliance to KPIsPlacing and follow-up on POs, managing relationships with suppliers for PO execution and managing problems and schedule changes.Managing the purchase operations to ensure purchase orders meet budget, On-Time-Delivery and productivity targetsProviding guidance to cross-functional teams to support projects, procedures and processesOverseeing the sourcing and buying process to ensure products are delivered according to quality, specifications and budgetsFuel your passionTo be successful in this role you will: Have either a Bachelor's, or else a high school diploma / GED and 4 years of experience in Sourcing.Possess a minimum of 3 additional years of experience in Buying/Procurement.Have at least 12 months of previous experience working within SAP and/or Ariba.Work in a way that works for youWe recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone too.
