Position Summary Duties include a mixture of administrative and staff supervision. LOCATION & TRAVEL Role provides the opportunity to work in a hybrid environment, working both virtually and in office. Ability to travel domestically up to 15%. Duties & Responsibilities Oversee the Accounts Payable activities for the AP department, which includes work allocation, problem resolution, training, and cross-training team members. Supervise accounts payable clerks/specialists and support a positive and customer focused service delivery team. Drive process improvements, standardization, and simplification as part of a global AP team. Support suppliers / business with prompt and effective responses to issues / queries. Work closely with Source to Pay / SCM leadership and peers to drive compliance with Oceaneering policy and engage in the appropriate dialogue where deviations occur. Process and monitor various pay cycles both domestically and internationally and work with treasury on working capital optimization opportunities. Monitor processing queues and ensure backlogs over 30 days are maintained at minimum levels. Research and maintain the reconciliation of the RNV (received not vouchered) account. Close AP at the end of each month seeking continuous opportunities to improve data information for the business. Process 1099's annually and ensure a robust data set throughout the year. Practice effective communication skills to include active listening seeking feedback from segments and functions ongoing. Handle vendor issue resolution promptly, professionally and capture learnings and COPQ for the team / business. Review, interpret and drive action from KPIs / AP metrics as appropriate providing insight to F&A leadership. Perform other accounting and reconciliation duties as required. Quickly adapt to new technology implementation and actively participate in training / change management within the team to ensure value is maximized for Oceaneering. Effectively partner with cross-functional departments to meet various objectives and contribute to enterprise initiatives. Maintain confidentiality of data. Ensure compliance with SOX requirements and internal/external audit processes. Qualifications REQUIRED Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field OR Minimum of five (5) years related accounts payable/accounting experience as a leader or part of team. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. Minimum of three (3) years of experience with SOX requirements and internal/external audit processes. Minimum one (1) year of prior leadership experience of a team with 1+ direct reports. Proficient in Microsoft Office Programs (i.e., Word and Excel) . PREFERRED Oracle (PeopleSoft) experience a plus.
