Position Summary The primary responsibility of this position is to manage the planning, cost and schedule execution of assigned products using existing software systems working independently on routine duties and limited guidance on non-routine duties. LOCATION Requires daily onsite attendance; this is not a remote-work position Duties & Responsibilities ESSENTIAL Maintain Item Master Attribute data to create a time phased material plan that supports the Master Schedule and inventory investment objectives. Ensure timely and accurate implementation of Engineering Change Orders and apply any applicable charges back to projects, including Daily New Revised Item Reports and Cloud Bom Change reports. Proactively identify, communicate and mitigate schedule execution issues. Facilitate resolution of cross functional issues as appropriate. Review Planned Purchase requisitions driven by MRP/Cloud Planning and convert to Release Purchase Requisitions for execution by Procurement. Work with with Procurement on any items that do not meet the schedule need dates. Manage PIDs from creation through financial closure. Work with Master Scheduler to determine when to release new PIDs. Interact closely with production control to ensure accurate information resides in PID packets on shop floor. Release pull requests from warehouse for Inter-business unit transfer shipments and project mangament requests that are non-PID production related. Proactively interact with Master Scheduler, planners, engineering, procurement, production control, quality and manufacturing to ensure effective communication and execution of Master Schedule. Maintains a safe and clean working environment, observes and follows safety policies, wears appropriate and prescribed personal protective equipment. Work closely with the manufacturing floor, production control, and manufacturing engineering to determine and implement appropriate work center and router set up. Execute daily/weekly exception report recommendations including cancellation and Po reschedule reports to reduce excess inventory May provide guidance for other Planners and Production Control associates. Participate in and may lead Process Improvement Activites Other duties as assigned. Qualifications REQUIRED Bachelor degree or equivalent combination of education and experience Minimum Five (5) year related experience in one or more of the following: Inventory Control, Warehouse, Purchasing or Planning Working Knowledge of Ms Office, Including Outlook, Excel, Word and Power Point Minimum 5 year experience with MRP Software and/or inventory management fundementals as related to supply chain functions DESIRED Supply chain or technical degree CPIM cerification KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND OTHER CHARACTERISTICS Knowledge of negotiation techniques. Knowledge of cross functional disciplines outside Supply Chain. Skill to gather, analyze and interpret d ata.
