Overview / Responsibilities Wood is recruiting a Senior Planner to join our team in Brunei. Wood has many years of experience in carrying such projects all over the world and it is our intention to bring our world - class systems to this project.The Senior Planner will be responsible for the production of all plans and schedules related to EPC actvities and the updating and forecasting of individual task plans for both onshore and offshore work scope requirements. He will be the planning interface focal point with the engineering and construction teams and be responsible for the production, maintenance, and update & forecasting of the manpower loading analysis required for the work. This is an end to end rejuvenation scope and as such, will involve interfacing with other disciplines like planning, construction, procurement, HVEC and client operations.You will be expected to work in a multidiscipline team environment where the overall success of the project is paramount. Wood is looking at a right first - time approach and as such, we are looking for candidates who can rise to a challenge and are interested in being part of an innovative and driven team. Understand all relevant documentation pertaining to the project including scope of services, conditions of contract, project execution plan, project schedule, etc.Work within the WOOD standard Planning / Scheduling procedures.Produce progress reports in line with project requirementsInterface with WOOD PMT and Client Management TeamMaintain accurate schedule and control curves in an updated condition and prepare forecasts of trendsImplement Earned Value techniquesProvide and maintain planning and scheduling statistics derived from completed projects Skills / Qualifications Appropriate technical qualification or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years' practical experience in planning of minor and / or major projects, both offshore and onshore, in the oil and gas industry Conversant with WOOD's Work Management System (JMS, CTRm) and have a sound knowledge of P6 planning software Offshore experience is desirable and the incumbent shall have a sound appreciation of safety aspects of design in relation to the project cycle and quality assurance and control requirements of the design cycle Ability to provide information and handle priorities in a timely and accurate manner Proficient in the use of standard desk top software, data compilation and manipulation and competent in maintaining and updating project reports accordingly Proven ability to work to demanding project schedules Good interpersonal, coordination and communication skills Ability to work in a matrix-type organizational environment Exhibit good data analysis and problem solving skills Worked in an EPC environment Working knowledge of Shell's DEPs Preference will be given to Bruneian citizens or Brunei permanent residents Company Overview Wood is a global leader in engineering and consultancy across energy and the built environment, helping to unlock solutions to some of the world's most critical challenges.
