Use oscilloscopes, electrical meters (DVM), electrical and optical time domain reflectometers (TDRs), high voltage meggers, logic and frequency analyzers, spectrum analyzers, fiber optic sources and power meters, and similar test equipment. The Lead ET may serve as a mentor to Entry Level ETs and is expected to be able to serve as the primary Electronics Technician on whatever project they are assigned to. The Lead ET should have advanced technical experience and is expected to perform the full range of expected ET tasks autonomously. Assist as directed by Assembly Supervisor, Group Leader of Electronics Technicians, or project-specific Senior ET or Lead ET. Travel may be required. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This position has supervisory responsibilities. May supervise the activities of Entry Level ET's. Knowledge of shipboard wiring and/or subsea systems (ROVs/AUVs) is preferred. Good communication skills and the ability to work as a team player in a fast-paced environment. Able to work with minimum supervision under a variety of conditions. A current valid U.S. passport is required. Must be a U.S. Citizen. Must be able to obtain security clearance.
