We help a diverse range of customers across the value chain to reduce operating costs and improve productivity.Partner with the bestAs a critical member of the Inquiry to Order (ITO) team, the Lead Proposals Specialist will deliver high quality technical and commercial solutions for our customers across North and Latin America, including winning proposals and strategic agreements. In this role, you will coordinate multifunctional teams (Application Engineering, Repairs, Field Services, Sourcing, Finance, Contract and Legal) to implement the transactional strategy for parts, services, and repairs.As a Lead Proposals Specialist, you will be responsible for:Developing proposals for spare parts, field services and repair, negotiates with customers and ensures deals deliver valueManaging complex commercial processes requiring involvement of many stakeholders both at the client side and internally (engineering, legal, risk, finance etc)Leading the transactional deal process with the ability to structure high quality, commercially and technically accurate proposalsEnsuring all deviations from standard Terms & Conditions are properly evaluated, mitigated and approved by the responsible functionsPartnering with the sales team to increase orders volume. Prepares and manages regional frame agreements and negotiates dedicated Terms & Conditions with customersCoordinating business releases and hand-offs to ensure the production schedule dates are met and continuously review deal dispositions. Lead lessons-learned and continuous improvement projects to improve competitiveness, hit-rate and market shareFuel your passionTo be successful in this role you will:Have Bachelor's degree (Business Administration/Energy Engineering preferred) from an accredited university or college and 3+ yrs experience in Proposals/Commercial Operations/Sales/Project Management.Fluent in English is a must, Fluent in Spanish, Portuguese and/or Italian is a plusHave experience with Baker Hughes IET Gas Services products (repair, field service, spare parts), processes and tools, business units and supporting functions.Able to influence others and coordinate cross functional teams driving the stakeholders towards a common goalHave industry knowledge / competitive landscape understanding including knowledge of legal and financial matters in contract clauses, terms and conditions.Work in a way that works for youWe recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone too.
