Take ownership for delivering complex projects As a (Lead) Topside Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for activities contributing to the design and development of products, solutions and systems. Includes activities linked to technical improvement of existing products and components. Requires mastery of a body of theoretical knowledge. Requires developed and strong foundation of function skills and knowledge of relevant technologies.As a (Lead) Topside Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for:Carrying out required engineering tasks/projects, according to company and international standards and procedures and reporting progressFollowing guidelines to create, review and approve engineering parts, documentation, procedures, study reports, design and requirementsWorking directly with customers especially in regard to technical clarifications and interpretation of standardsPerforming to the required competence standards and promoting and ensuring compliance to all company, customer and regulatory requirementsExecuting the design, analysis, or evaluation of assigned projects using sound engineering principles and adhering to business standards, practices, procedures, and product / program requirementsProviding technical leadership to personnel supporting the assigned projectProviding timely communications on significant issues or developmentsParticipating on teams assigned to address organizational initiatives and generic issues and / or as a presenter or reviewer in technical and program reviewsWriting of documents / procedures / drawings: Equipment Functional Design Specification; Equipment Design Requirement List; Equipment Data Sheet; Electrical Single Line Diagram; Electrical Wiring diagram; Cabinet LayoutsManaging Electrical calculations and analyses of power consumption and electrical communications Fuel your passion To be successful in this role you will need to:Have a degree in Engineering (Electrical/Automation/Controls Engineering) with significant industrial experienceDemonstrate detailed knowledge of relevant International & National Regulations (e.g. IEC, CE)Have knowledge and experience within engineering, project planning, risk management, EHS and QAHave proven experience with drawing electrical schematicsHave experience with electrical component selectionHave experience in control cabinet constructionHave experience with offshore related projectsShow experience and knowledge of electrical systems and relevant typical product designBe capable of working effectively in teams, with a flexible approach to changing work demandsBe a fluent English language speaker and show assertive and positive communication skills Work in a way that works for you We recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone.
