Overview / Responsibilities Wood is currently recruiting for a Project Engineer on a 12 months contract to support a key Client in the delivery of Operations critical projects. The opportunity will be a mix of both office and site-based work at Client office and project locations and would be tailored to suit project delivery requirements. The successful candidate will support the development of engineering design by Client subcontractors, support procurement activities and guide the project through to practical completion in the field. Responsibilities Project manage an engineering delivery team to deliver projects from front end design, through detailed design, procurement, construction, hand over and close-out Bottom line responsibility for the financial and technical success of a project Stakeholder engagement and management Statement of requirements throughout the phasing of the project from concept, detail design, and site implementation Implementation of the company quality management system for the project Skills / Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in engineering 10 years Project Engineering experience Extensive experience as a Project Engineer in a CSG environment Previous experience in a role of Project Engineer leading a project multidiscipline team Demonstrated supervisory and administration skills necessary to organise and lead a project team, support sub-contracting entities, develop design / implementation schedules and provide on-going status reports to the senior management team Demonstrated strong commitment to safety Operations experience highly desired, but not essential Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills, both written and oral Candidates must have full work rights in Australia to be considered for this role.
