Controls Sustaining Engineering Leader Would you like the opportunity to work for an Oilfield Services Company? Do you like working in collaborative teams and solving technical problems? Partner with the best As the Controls Sustaining Engineering Leader, you will be the focal point between the engineering team and Supply Chain, manufacturing and field service regarding the Baker Hughes ALS Variable Speed Drives (VSD) product. In this role, you will work to improve collaboration and drive efficiencies between engineering and the other teams. This activity will include design changes, oversight of projects with varying complexity, as well as the tracking and communication of key performance indicators.All Science and Technology disciplines are welcome to apply. As the Controls Sustaining Engineering Leader, you will be responsible for:Identifying, communicating, and tracking the needs of the internal customer.Submitting and processing change requests as needed.Providing guidance to the BH Manufacturing community and to the BH supplier base on engineering design related inquiries.Working with Engineering subject matter experts to solve issues and develop solutions to internal customer requests.Coordinating with the functional groups within the team to develop and maintain a dashboard on the technical health and life cycle status of the product portfolio.Reporting work status and customer needs to management. Fuel your passion To be successful in this role you will: Have a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college. Minimum of 2 additional years of experience in Operations.Have experience working in a technical role with diverse stakeholders such as purchasing/sourcing, manufacturing, quality, reliability, and field serviceBe capable of evaluating requests from diverse stakeholders and refining them into engineering actions and requirementsHave working knowledge of Bill of Materials.Be able to read and interpret engineering related documentation such as assembly prints, fabrication prints, and specifications.Have good oral and written communication skills.Have interpersonal and leadership skills.Have demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.Have demonstrated ability to lead programs/projects.Document, plan, market, and execute programs.Demonstrate established project management skills.Have a willingness and desire to learn new things.Desired Characteristics:Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Electro-mechanical engineering.Experience with CAD systems such as Solid Works.Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
