Overview / Responsibilities Massy Wood is recruiting for a Web Developer / Project Administrator with experience in design and maintaining information systems. Produce solutions that are secure, intuitive, cost effective, fit for purpose and add value to both Massy Wood Group and the Customer. Deals with the majority of situations encountered on own initiative. Analyse, define and document requirements for data, workflow, logical processes, interfaces with other systems, internal and external checks and controls, and outputs. Streamline existing data sources. Write and maintain documentation to describe program development, logic, coding, testing, changes, and corrections. Develop custom reports, functions and stored procedures, as necessary for the operations and business needs. Develop, implement, and maintain change control for modifications to databases. Monitors the performance of applications after implementation. Assist in user training. Establish appropriate end-user database access control levels Demonstrate the appropriate competence level for the job. Act as a source for guidance on a range of discipline applications. Strong technical knowledge of systems development standards and methodologies Self-checking of own work. Capture and communicate lessons learnt to the Line Supervisor. Liaise with the Line Supervisor to identify areas for professional development and to develop a Training Plan. Work and progress according to Training Plan. Keep a log of competencies gained through further education, external training and internal / on the job training. Deliver assigned tasks within man-hour budget and schedule. Identify areas of concern during the course to the Line Supervisor while proposing necessary corrective action. Prepare timesheets accurately and timely. Develop and Maintain a Data Base for control of department's staff Site Passes, Inductions, Mandatory Training, etc. and issue Weekly Reports on expiry dates of same, where applicable. Assist with venue arrangements and preparation of presentation material. Coordinate meetings by assisting in the preparation of documentation, making venue and room bookings, organizing catering etc. Assist with formatting reports, presentations, letters and any other required documents. Perform all other job-related functions as required. Skills / Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline, or equivalent work experience and technical training. Experience in designing, developing and implementing systems utilizing Server side and Client-side web frameworks, Single-page applications (Angular 8 or better, React or Vue), JavaScript, CSS frameworks (Bootstrap). UX/UI Design is preferred. Experienced in version control and web security (JWT). Minimum 2 years experience in Power BI, MS Power Automate, Power Apps, Microsoft Teams, Sharepoint. 2-3 years' experience administering SQL Server (or Azure). Data warehousing knowledge (ETL procedures).
