We are a highly recognised team who successfully deliver the highest quality of service to our customers.Partner with the bestReporting to the Engineering Manager you will provide design expertise and guidance on all aspects of mechanical design to the business.As Lead Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for: Working with engineering and operational colleagues to assess potential improvements driven by client feedback and feedback from the field.Implementing design changes as required.Demonstrating the suitability and robustness of design changes via calculation and analysis.Demonstrating changes implemented are in accordance with relevant codes of practice.Producing design reports.Checking and production of technical drawings of mechanical / electro-mechanical components and assemblies / sub - assemblies.Fuel your passionTo be successful in this role you will: Have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or other relevant technical subject (i.e. Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering) with equivalent experience.Have significant experience working in a similar role including the design of oilfield (preferably downhole) equipment.Have a good understanding of mechanical / structural analytical and numerical design techniques.Have a good understanding of basic fluid mechanics and pipeline hydraulics.Have a proven background with SolidWorks or similar modelling software.Work in a way that works for youWe recognise that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone too.
