Under minimum supervision, creates, coordinates, analyzes, issues, and releases accurate and efficient information and documentation as required or needed by customers, CVM Field Warehouses and others. This position maintains a computer data filing system for traceability documentation for all product lines. Coordinate and verify Material Test Reports in accordance with ASTM, AISI, ANSI, and API or other industry specifications and standards.Maintain status of certification on raw material (plate, bar stock, castings, etc.) received from suppliers and vendors. Maintain raw material certification files and coordinate raw material certification requirements with suppliers, vendors, Purchasing Department, and Receiving Department.Retrieve and verify Material Test Reports on specific shipments to customers for who inspection and test data is required. Create documentation package for customer.Assist with verification of set-out reports and compilation of Material Test Reports as needed for documentation packages.Prepare certification packages as needed based on customer order requirements or as requested by the Shipping Department, Sales Department, or customer.Assist in preparation of Certification Data Books for customers.Assist with the scanning of documents into the electronic document storage system.Initiate QA correspondence, certifications and reports.Generate the Quality Documentation Transaction Report monthly.Maintain and update Quality Assurance/Control files.Train new employees (as required) to job responsibilities of the Quality Control Technician. Cross-training of other Quality Department personnel to ensure coverage during absence (sickness, vacations, etc.).Perform other Quality Control/Assurance/Control projects and/or duties as assigned by SupervisorMinimum Job Qualifications Microsoft Suite experience required (Outlook, Excel, Word)
