Electrical Engineer Do you enjoy being part of a successful team?Would you like to help shape and implement our Digital Solutions strategic direction?Join our Digital Solutions team!The team at Panametrics, a Baker Hughes business designs and manufactures a range of sensing instrumentation and sensors that are utilized in a vast array of market segments.Partner with the bestAs a Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for: Executing on the product design, validation, and certification of industrial grade electrical systemsTranslating electrical design requirements to electrical designsDeveloping data acquisition and signal processing subsystems for complex industrial productsSupporting sustaining and obsolescence activities across a broad product portfolioSupporting the implementation of process-driven design decisions (CPO, NPI and NTI)Fuel your passionTo be successful in this role you will:Have Bachelor's degree (minimum) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent from an accredited college or universityHave experience with schematic capture and layout tool such as PADS, and Altium.Have familiarity with hardware debugging at board level using oscilloscope, bus analyzers, digital multimeters, etc.Be an effective communicator within technical and non-technical environmentsHave demonstrated ability to perform in a team environment, across functions, and with customer and suppliersBe capable of concise and effective written and verbal communication in EnglishDesired qualificationsHave demonstrated expertise in designing with embedded targets ranging from 8 to 32-bits including ARM/ARM Cortex, TI MSP430, and ST Micro devices with external SDRAM, flash, and peripherals.Have demonstrated design expertise in low noise analog front ends, low power switching power supplies, and high voltage drive circuitry. Have experience with communications including RS232, RS485, I2C, SPI, CANbus, and Ethernet.Have experience with industrial communications protocols like HART, Foundation Fieldbus, Modbus or ProfibusHave experience with safety and hazardous standards such as IEC60079 and IEC61010.Have experience with CE compliance including the EMC compliance testing and validation plan.Have experience with the design of industrial sensors and sensing system interfaces in the ultrasonic flowmetering, and trace gas/moisture detection spaces.As part of our commitment to the health and safety of our employees, customers and the communities in which we operate, this role requires full vaccination for COVID-19 prior to beginning work.
