Our client is currently looking for a Reporting Governance Analyst on a permanent basis, in Aberdeen UK. • The Reporting Governance Analyst is responsible for the preparation and development of key management information (MI) to enable efficient and effective performance reporting across the IS organization • The role helps deliver a consistent and standardised approach utilising IS frameworks and processes Areas of Accountability, Responsibility and Competence Level: • Supports the Project Management Office (PMO) Supervisor in providing quality management information data or reports for the office of the SVP - IS • Supports the PMO Supervisor in producing, and updating as required, the IS communication plan • Develops and maintains a suite of reports and KPI's on the performance of IS functions ensuring that they are delivered in line with the agreed reporting cadence • Highlights reporting data issues, identifies, and designs action orientated solutions for the teams to resolve • Ensures reports are designed and delivered to meet the reporting requirements for stakeholder including the SVP - IS • The ongoing production of daily, weekly, periodic, and annual performance analysis is required including, but not limited to: o KPI analysis o Project status reporting o Operational status reporting o Contract performance reporting o Volume reporting on key metrics • Provides regular management information (MI) as required • Supports in the development of management presentations as defined within the IS communications plan • Performs statistical analysis of performance metrics • Prepares accurate and robust contractual performance statistics • Ensures reporting processes and procedures are fully documented and constantly reviewed • Works with minimal supervision, using clearly defined processes and procedures • May be required to provide out of hours support via an on-call rota Critical Skills Qualifications Experience, etc.: • Good interpersonal skills and adept at interacting with individuals within the IS team • Flexible and responsive to stakeholder requirements and changing environment • Ability to deliver high quality work by deadlines and work effectively under time pressure • Ability to work under minimal guidance and proactively highlight improvements • Data process experience • Highly numerate with strong analytical skills • The ability to design and deliver effective reports and KPIs • Good organisational skills and attention to detail • Able to organise workloads to meet demanding and often changing priorities, ensuring that key deadlines are met • Able to solve problems and create pragmatic solutions and improvements • Good analytical and report writing skills including Power BI, Excel and PowerPoint • Strong communication skills, ability to present information in a clear, timely and focused wayWith over 90 years' combined experience, NES Fircroft (NES) is proud to be the world's leading engineering staffing provider spanning the Oil & Gas, Power & Renewables, Infrastructure, Life Sciences, Mining, Automotive and Chemicals sectors worldwide.With more than 100 offices in 45 countries, we are able to provide our clients with the engineering and technical expertise they need, wherever and whenever it is needed.
