Overview / Responsibilities
Our UK offices presently have an opening for an Administrative Assistant. The Administrative Assistant role is to support the Intelligent Operations group, a diverse, dynamic and growing team in delivering consultancy and digital solutions to industry.
This role can be based in the Staines or Reading office with hybrid working available.

The Role
You will be the focal point for the project team and client providing administrative support, this will vary day to day including coordination of team travel, organising project events/activities and document formatting.
We are looking for a positive individual who is customer focused with the ability to build strong working relationships and is pro-active in completing work in a timely manner. You will be a great communicator, team player and have the ability to use your own initiative.

Typical responsibilities
 
 

Manage administrative tasks including calendar management, travel arrangements, preparing and tracking expense reports, and meeting organisational deadlines
Support Business Managers to help them interface across the broader organisation, often acting as their proxy
Build efficiency and effective responsiveness into existing operations, and help define new operational strategies
Act as a focal point of contact for other departments and external suppliers, appropriately handling confidential information as necessary
Plan, manage, and execute team offsites, events, and activities
Support project managers for projects with regards to cost and schedule reporting against targets
Collaborate with wider group Business Partners to ensure proactive and efficient management of aspects such as hiring, onboarding, audits, HSSE, IT, etc
Monitoring and reporting on local overhead costs, to support management of wider group P&L

Expected:

 
 

The individual must be proactive and self-motivated
Previous experience in an administrative, finance or office assistant role
Good working knowledge of MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint,
Demonstrated ability of time management skills and ability to manage multiple tasks
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communications skills
Ability to manage a high volume of work and priorities
The individual must be confident in a role requiring autonomy, whilst having a flexible, positive attitude
