HR Graduate Trainee Objective: To provide an efficient and effective HR support to various functions within the HR Department in order to complete specific projects and deliverables. This role will give the successful candidate an opportunity to gain exposure to all aspects of the HR Function and will work within Employee Relations, Benefits and HR Systems as required. M ain Responsibilities Preparation of Contracts of Employment and any other paperwork relevant to terms and conditions of an employee Assistance with recruitment administration process Creation of Personnel Change Requests from the HIRES system Audit checks of SAP to ensure data accuracy Creation and maintenance of employee files Coordination of new hires and leavers process Update of Tracker reports Tracking of sickness absence Administration of company eye care scheme Preparation of general reference letters as required Answering queries from employees or managers on general HR issues Distribution of information to employees on company initiatives, HR policies etc Paperwork relating to Company Benefits, eg maternity, pension, child care vouchers, sickness General reports and data input Specific projects as directed Knowledge and Skills: The successful applicant will be a graduate who is pursuing a career in HR and willing to work towards completion of the CIPD qualification. Good knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel is essential. Knowledge of any personnel database would be an advantage. Confidentiality and Integrity. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
