Overview / Responsibilities Wood has an immediate requirement for a Web Developer to join our Digital and Information Technology team. Ideally this role will be based in Perth, however we encourage applicants based elsewhere in Australia to apply. This is a career development permanent staff role, reporting to the Development Manager with an immediate start. This role offers you an opportunity to work across different fields within the energy sector from engineering, inspection and risk analysis through to digital video recording. Specifically, this role includes Working together with a small team on a range of existing desktop, web and mobile applications Working independently to build and deploy web applications Assisting in maintaining / extending an existing Javascript / Angular / MSSQL application Communicating effectively with the team members on various tasks and projects as assigned Investigating and gathering information required to complete assignments within deadlines Join us in the heart of Perth's CBD at Dexus Place - 240 St Georges Terrace, free 24/7 access to an exclusive onsite gym, superb end of trip facilities, coffee machines serving on demand and plenty of spaces to support your creativity. Skills / Qualifications Degree in Computing Science or Diploma / Certificate in Computer Programming or Application Development 3+ years of web application development work experience in a project team environment Demonstrated front-end web development skills Proficient in HTML, CSS, cross browser Java-script and Angular A n understanding of software development best practices and tools such as version control with Subversion and build servers / continuous integration tools such as Jenkins Experience in using D3 framework, Three.js, SQL, Powershell, Microsoft IIS setup and / or configuration experience with ISAPI API is highly desirable It takes a diverse and motivated team for Wood to continue to have global impact and we would welcome interest from those who have demonstrate the following qualities: Ability to pick up new skills quickly and efficiently Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Detail oriented and task focused and technically curious Self-motivated, enthusiastic and committed to delivering first-class technology services Team player with strong interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with others Demonstrated strong communication skills in both written and verbal English Company Overview Wood is a global leader in engineering and consultancy across energy and the built environment, helping to unlock solutions to some of the world's most critical challenges.
