Partner with the best The OFS Technology and Research Team is looking for self-contained, self-motivated, and structured Firmware Development Engineer to join the team. This will be a unique opportunity to join a cross discipline team working with state-of-the-art technologies in the energy development industry. The position is based in Pune, India. As a Lead Engineer - Embedded Software Development, you will be responsible for: Developing and integration of new embedded software systems for our downhole drilling tools. Developing and adaptation of embedded software for microcontroller using C. Developing and integration of new embedded software systems for our downhole drilling tools. Communicating protocols / bus systems (CAN, SPI, UART, etc.) Having measurement and digital signal processing. Low level driver development for µC/DSP. Actuator control and closed loop control. Generating and enhancing of embedded software documentation. Failure analysis in electrical systems Fuel your passion To be successful in this role you will: Be a B. Tech/M. Tech Graduate in Electronics/ Electronic & Communications/ Electrical/ Informatics Have 5 - 8 yrs of experience in Embedded Software Development Have experience in C or C++ programming experiences, Digital signal processing, Measurement, and control technologies. Have Programming experiences on following bus technologies: CAN, SPI, UART. Experienced in using measurement- and laboratory equipment. Have experience in using of version control systems. C programming experiences on microcontroller (8/16-bit architecture) Have Analysis of digital circuitries and technical datasheets. Real Time Operating Systems (RTOS). Test methods, procedures, and tools. Have Practical knowledge in configuration management systems: version control, central build, and tool chains.
