Overview / Responsibilities Wood (trading locally as WOOD KSS JSC) is currently recruiting for a Senior Instrument and Control Engineer with extensive experience in the oil and gas petrochemical industry (for KZ passport holders). Responsibilities: Evaluate, select, and apply standard engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria, using judgment in making minor adaptations to major modifications Manage the design of larger and more complex projects which involve conventional types of plans, investigations and surveys with complex features for which there are not precedents Preparation of CTR's Participate in site surveys, safety reviews, HAZOPs and SIL Assessments Ensure Safety in design and HSE requirements Undertake checking activities in accordance with company procedures Ensure adherence to company /client's policies, procedures and core values Control theories and application Control, safety system, F&G definition and engineering execution Specification and procurement of field instruments; Specification, procurement and detail design of Control and Safety Systems Provide technical direction for Instrument Engineers and Designers Undertake site surveys BOD's, SOW, Site Survey Reports, Datasheets, Construction Workpacks Specification and procurement of Instrument equipment Instrument selection and sizing Skills / Qualifications Engineering degree Minimum of 7 years experience in Instrumentation and automation field Working knowledge of GOST and SNiPs Good Communication Skills Good English level SPI knowledge Company Overview Wood is a global leader in engineering and consultancy across energy and the built environment, helping to unlock solutions to some of the world's most critical challenges.
