Overview / Responsibilities Wood has an immediate role for a Regulatory Advisor (Environmental) to join our team in Perth, Western Australia as part of its Operations APAC West business. This is an initial 12 month opportunity, to initially commence part-time, and anticipated to be an ongoing requirement on a rare, national-scale and challenging decommissioning project. Wood delivers Brownfields engineering, procurement, construction, optimisation and technical services to the oil and gas sector and enjoys long-term partnerships with some of the region's most prominent producers, actively supporting operations in Western Australia, the Northern Territory and Kazakhstan. As Regulatory Advisor (Environmental) you will be reporting directly to the project Environmental, Health, Safety and Regulatory Leader. Your scope and responsibilities will be: Providing main day-to-day interface between Project Management, Regulators and Phase 1 Lead Contractor Ensuring practicable technical standards and regulatory compliance are achieved in a timely manner Scheduling to develop and approve regulatory documents are appropriately represented on schedule Ensuring Regulator is appropriately briefed on project objectives Securing appropriate documents are complaint with Regulatory Standards Ensuring the interest of Project Management are represented in the Regulatory documents. Skills / Qualifications You will must be an Australian citizen and have the ability to pass a "base level" security clearance. Suitably qualified in a relevant Engineering/Science discipline from a recognised institution, ideally you will have a minimum of 5+ years of proven experience in a similar role in the Oil &Gas Engineering / EPCM sector in Australia.
