The Senior Specialist, Procurement - Market Intelligence will report into Manager, Procurement - Market Intelligence. The incumbent will be responsible for analysing the supply market, price trends, running market research, driving and building sourcing strategies. Will also take an active role in supporting the Global Category leaders - by providing actionable recommendations based on assessments of the market and suppliers. The person will be responsible for designing intelligence products, identify internal demands, implement digitization projects, new technologies and contribute to the global implementation of the area.Responsibilities• Design intelligence products, create and develop market reports, review market and supplier data to uncover procurement opportunities and address business issues, develop forecast methodologies;• Identify and collect appropriate supplier, market, economic, financial and/or operational data, • Perform financial, statistical, and qualitative data analysis of markets, commodities and suppliers and develop forecast models for raw materials prices; • Translate data and information into executable strategies and deliver effective Procurement Intelligence reports; • Support strategic negotiations, develop negotiation preparation decks, understand supplier and commodities markets and translate into effective procurement strategies, Implement • Data Visualization tools, develop new technologies for Data Science and support digitization projects• Key Work with global Procurement teams in Strategic Sourcing projects• Map risks in the supplier base, develop monitoring system and perform timely Early Warnings• Build comprehensive network, with internal and external stakeholders, been a thought leader for the categories of expertise • Lead, support and collaborate for the Procurement's elevation to a strategic function.• Lead, Collaborate & partner with teams and experts to create a best-in-class Procurement Intelligence areaEducation• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Economics or similar field and / or certification in Market Intelligence or Data Analytics. MBA or post graduation is a plus.Hard Skills• Demonstrated comfort with contemporary technologies, tech-savvy• Knowledge of Procurement methods, technologies and processesDesired Characteristics• Strong quantitative and analytical skills• Ability to work with multiple global cross-functional teams to lead strategic transformation• Good understanding of Statistical tools, digital tools landscape, value stream mapping and Strategic Sourcing methodology• Knowledge in Python, R, Power Bi and Tableau are desirableSoft Skills• Demonstrate exceptionally good leadership skills, including the ability to inspire and influence a large cross-functional group to a flawless execution.
