Our global Commercial Team is responsible for shaping new business, developing strategy, maintaining customer relationships, and ensuring customer needs are exceeded.Partner with the bestIn this role you will be responsible for manufacturing activities, considering customers need dates and production capacity. You will work with project managers, buyers, engineering, and manufacturing teams in the coordination of all supply chain activities. This includes follow-ups and proactively responding to any situation that may result in a delay to the project.As a Project and Production Planner, you will be responsible for: Working with the Project Managers, Buyers, Manufacturing, and Engineering to ensure the on-time delivery of projects.Ensuring operational alignment with production plan and KPIs.Monitoring component status, before and after project is released to the manufacturing team, and managing any situation that may compromise the project schedule.Updating and reporting daily on project status while working on plans to avoid or reduce impact to manufacturing schedule, customer witness test and ship date.Identifying long lead time items and special process or equipment required by a project.Ensuring the correct activities, durations, work centers and workload are planned on every supply chain activity of the project.Supporting PMs on the creation of project structure, scheduling and coordinating the correct supply chain team.Communicating required dates for Bill of Material (BOM) releases, according to supply chain and suppliers lead times.Ensuring material master integrity for all parts in a BOM. Responding quickly after an Engineering Change is released.Supporting buyers on the definition items, expediting and communicating with engineering to look for substitute parts that are delayed.Reviewing post project shipment details and resolving any problems.Handling requests for Warranties, Concession, and Cost of Failure, ensuring parts are shipped quickly.Using SAP to properly document scheduling and create requests.Supporting New Product Introduction (NPI) projects as required.Fuel your passionTo be successful in this role you will: Have Bachelor's from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with relevant work operations, planning, or production experience)Have excellent verbal and written communication skillsBe results oriented, self- efficient, self-motivatedHave experience within a supply chain roleHave the ability to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlinesBe able to manage several projects at a timeDemonstrate effective organizational skillsWork in a way that works for youWe recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone too.
