Come be part of something special - start your journey today! Our Water Technologies Division is seeking Electrical Technicians at our Oakville Facility. The Electrical Technicians will be responsible for meeting daily maintenance needs.THis position is Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PMEssential Functions (Responsibilities):These duties and responsibilities are not exhaustive and will be supplemented as necessary:May include running conduit and wiring electrical breaker panels and components with minimal supervision. Assisting Facilities staff with all building maintenance duties.Performs mechanical and electrical troubleshooting. Keeps accurate records of electrical jobs in ESA book. Meet with and walk through building with ESA inspector quarterly.Follow Safe Work Practices and all environmental, health and safety rules.Replace and install lighting ballasts. Performs any additional duties as assigned by supervisor or facilitator. Perform monthly inspection of GFI outlets and fire suppression system.Help out other departments with LOTO and electrical needsTake over as LOTO Element owner and work with EHS lead on it. Work overtime when required.Qualifications / Requirements:Technical training in the electrical fieldMechanical aptitude Desired Qualifications:High School Diploma/GED.Routing and terminating wires that range from 20 AWG to 4/0 AWGApplicable experience may include sizing, bending and installing various types of conduitAbility to learn, understand and aid in the implementation of all policies, practices and procedures.Attention to detailAbility to work independently or as part of a teamAbility to demonstrate competency in the use of hand tools utilized during the wiring processWe offer competitive compensation and benefits working in a dynamic environment with challenging projects and training provided to ensure your success.We realize diverse teams make smarter decisions, deliver better results, and build stronger communities.
