We help a diverse range of customers across the value chain to reduce operating costs and improve productivity.Partner with the best As a Product Quality Assurance Engineer you will be responsible for: Verify contractual and regulatory requirements are fulfilled and have maximized customer satisfaction and profitability.Communicates with direct colleagues, suppliers, site leadership, and customersAdvises functional managers regarding projects, processes, and procedures performance and improvement opportunities in a manufacturing environment.Contributes to project as a team member or leads small projects. Work goals typically take 3-6 months to complete and the time horizon for results/impact is typically 2-12 months after the eventOwnership of product nonconformances (Quality Notifications & Field Incidents) to ensure timely root cause analysis, disposition, corrective/preventive action, and completion for both internal and external product nonconformances.Collaborate with Suppliers for product nonconformance root cause and corrective action.Analysis and reporting of data trends regarding product and Quality Management System nonconformances, as well as other Quality metrics (e.g. Cost of Poor Quality) to leadership and customers weekly, monthly and annually for Management Review.Supports closure of Quality Management System Corrective and Preventive Actions. (ISO 9001 and API Q1)Owner of Calibration Management program for the site.Provides support for Quality Management System procedure revisionsHead various site and multi-site level projects as necessaryHandle Customer Complaints in a professional mannerMaintain and make recommendations to site level inspection skip-lot program data in ERP system (SAP).Fuel Your Passion:To be successful in the role, you will have:Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 4 years of experience in Quality). Minimum of 3 additional years of experience in QA Engineering.Minimum 2 years' experience with Quality Management Systems (e.g. ISO 9001, API Q1, or other similar)Data analysis and trend reportingBackground in root cause and corrective actions Desired Characteristics Lean background is a bonusAPI Q1 experience is preferredQMS auditing background is preferredExperience in Supplier Quality is preferredBackground in Quality Inspections (Mechanical and/or Electrical) is preferredStrong oral and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills. Ability to influence others and lead small teams. Lead initiatives of moderate scope and impact. Ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously. Effective problem identification and solution skills.
